A RaSa Capital initiative, starting 2027: free, plain-language money sessions for families, shopkeepers and workers in Patna.
Growing up around our petrol pump, I saw how hard people work for every rupee, and how little help they get in deciding what to do with it. Many choose a scheme because a relative did, or lose money to a promise that sounded too good.
Finance for Families will run short sessions in Hindi, in a shop, a school or a community hall. No products are sold, no tips are given, and nothing is charged.
One page each. Print them, share them on WhatsApp, or keep one at the shop counter. Free to copy.
Five rules to save money
Which savings option, and when

RaSa Capital is an independent equity research and financial education brand from India, founded by Achintay Singh, that studies one Indian business every day in public.

Achintay Singh is the founder of RaSa Capital. He grew up around his family's petrol pump, made his first investment in fifty shares of Reliance Industries, and now studies one listed Indian company every day, publishing a research journal, a Weekly Commentary and free money tools for families. His long-term goal is to build a SEBI-registered investment firm.
Achintay Singh is the founder of RaSa Capital, an independent research and financial education brand from India. The name is a tribute to his family. Growing up around the family petrol pump, he watched cash arrive one litre at a time, which taught him that real businesses compound slowly. His first investment was fifty shares of Reliance Industries, made with the guidance of his maternal uncle, a stock market veteran of more than twenty years. RaSa Capital publishes a daily research journal on listed Indian companies, a Weekly Commentary on Indian markets, plain-language explainers and free tools such as a goal planner and a savings comparison. Through Finance for Families, starting in 2027, it will run free money sessions for families in Patna. RaSa Capital does not give buy or sell recommendations. Achintay's long-term goal is to build a SEBI-registered investment firm. He also hosts THINK WAY, a Hinglish YouTube channel on markets, and is writing two books, OCTANE and The Arithmetic of Patience.
Two syllables, one idea. RaSa is a tribute to the founder's family, and a reminder that the money this brand writes about belongs to families too. Say it RAH-sah.

Two books about money, family business and patience. One is a thriller. The other is a slow lesson.
A coming-of-age financial thriller.
A teenager whose family runs a petrol pump is pulled into the world of trading, where every price on the board hides a story, every shortcut has a cost, and the hardest trade is the one you do not make.
A story about money, told slowly.
Through an uncle who runs a small advisory business, a young narrator learns why the best investing decisions look boring, why time does most of the work, and why the arithmetic of patience beats the excitement of a tip.

Pick a goal. See what it will cost after inflation, and how much to invest every month to get there.
Assumes a constant return and inflation every year. Real returns go up and down. An illustration, not advice or a promise of returns.
The same money, in six places. See what each one becomes, and whether it beats inflation.
Simplified: every option is compounded yearly at the rate shown. Post Office rates are the government rates for October to December 2026 and change every quarter. PPF has a 15-year lock-in and a yearly limit; NSC locks in for 5 years. Bank FD and equity rates are only examples, and equity can fall. Tax is not included.
Move the sliders. The money you put in grows in a straight line. What it becomes curves upward, and the curve gets steep only in the later years.
Illustration of compounding at a constant rate. Real returns vary year to year. Not a projection or promise of returns.

A research and education brand from India, built in public by Achintay Singh.
I grew up around our family petrol pump, watching cash come in one litre at a time. That taught me something most market commentary skips: real businesses compound slowly, and the people who win are the ones who stay in their seat.
My long-term goal is to build a SEBI-registered investment firm. RaSa Capital is where it starts: in the open, one piece of research at a time.
Founder, MAP Enterprises · Patna
Every investor has someone who first opened the door. For me, it was my mamu.
He has spent more than twenty years in the Indian stock market, and runs MAP Enterprises, an AMFI-registered mutual fund distributor in Patna. He helped me buy my first fifty shares of Reliance Industries. He did not tell me what to think. He showed me how to read a business, why patience matters more than tips, and why every investment decision should be written down.
The research diary behind this website started on his advice, and he still reads it. RaSa Capital is my own project, but a large part of how I think about money comes from him.
MAP Enterprises and RaSa Capital are separate. RaSa Capital does not sell or distribute any financial product.
Every company goes through the same four questions, in this order. If it fails one, I stop and mark it dropped.
What does it sell, who pays, and why would they keep paying in ten years?
Revenue, margins, debt and cash flow over many years, from the annual reports.
What the market already expects, and whether the business can beat it.
A written thesis, a review date, and the discipline to leave it alone.
Not yet. RaSa Capital does not manage money, take deposits or offer any investment product. It is a research and education brand. A registered fund is the long-term goal and will only happen with full SEBI registration.
